Diane Worley, 13, Dies at St. Margaret's
Diane Worley, 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benson Worley of Schererville, died early Monday morning at St. Margaret's hospital, Hammond. Death was attributed to complications. She became ill on Saturday.Rev. E.L. Worley, of Lowell, pastor of the Shelby Church of Christ, officiated at memorial services held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Johnston-Royce Funeral Home in Griffith. Burial was in the Lowell cemetery.
Rev. Worley is the uncle of Benson Worley, son of the late Lewis Worley of Lowell.
An eighth grade student at Schererville school, she is survived by her parents; a sister, Brooke, 11; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Lewis in Hortonville, Wis., and Mrs. Nancy Worley in Hammond; and her great grandmother, Mrs. Mabel Echols, also of Hortonville.
