The following newspaper article, hand-identified as being from the Sept. 2, 1926, Lowell Tribune, was found in the Lowell Public Library clipping files:

    SCHOOL OPEN NEXT TUESDAY

    AFTER SUMMER VACATION. A FULL CORPS OF TEACHERS ENGAGED

    The schools, both town and country, will open next Tuesday morning for the regular term after the summer vacation. The scholars have enjoyed a long vacation and will enjoy getting into the school work again. The full corps of teachers for the various schools have been engaged, and they will be on hand at the opening of school next Tuesday morning. The list of teachers is as follows:
