John S. Larson, of Lowell, and Miss Alberta Nichols, of Crown Point, were united in marriage on May 12, but kept it a secret from their friends until last Saturday, when they announced the event. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Nichols, formerly of Lowell, but now residing at Crown Point. She is a graduate of Crown Point and is a highly respected young lady who has a host of friends both in the county seat and here in her former home. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Larson and is a young man who is well liked by all who know him. He graduated from Lowell High school four years [ago] and has worked at Gary for some time, where he is now employed. The young couple will make their home in Crown Point.
