from The Lowell Tribune, Sept. 7, 1916, page 4, column 4:
Lewis Chapman , of Indianapolis, visited his cousin Amos P. Thompson from Thursday until Saturday. The last time they saw each other was in a soldiers camp at Indianapolis fifty-one years ago, and it can be imagined that the meeting last Thursday was a very plesant one.

from The Lowell Tribune, Nov. 23, 1916, page 8, column 2:
Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Thompson of Lowell, Ind., have returned to St. Cloud to spend the winter. This makes the fourth winter here and they are much pleased with the city. Mr. Thompson is a member of Co. B, 20th Indiana. He says St. Cloud has grown rapidly since he departed last spring to spend the summer in the North.--St. Cloud (Florida) Tribune, Nov. 16.
