The following October 1, 1925 Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 4:
Little - Black Earl Little and Miss Emarine Black were united in marriage at the home of the bride at noon today. Rev. C.A. Brown performed the ceremony in the presence of the members of the immediate families of the bride and groom. The bride resides here with her sisters and brother and is one of our most highly esteemed young ladies. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Little and is a highly respected young man. The newlyweds left on a short trip, intending to visit Starved Rock and other points of interest. They will make their home here on the groom's father's farm. Their many friends will join us in extending congratulations and best wishes.
