- Pfc. Eugene Stowell and brother Lewis Stowell, M 3/c, met at Providence, R.I., a few days ago for a short visit before Eugene, who is in the field artillery, left for overseas duty.
This Lowell Tribune article was found in the July 12, 1945, issue (page 2, column 3):
- A letter received by Mrs. Jessie Owens from her brother, Pfc. Eugene Stowell, says he is now in Czechoslovakia where he expects to be stationed for some time.
