The following Sept. 21, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1 column 2:

MEMBERS OF PAST CHIEFS' CLUB HOLD MEETING

Members of the Past Chiefs' club met with Mrs. Hattie McNay for the regular monthly meeting at her home on Flower Hill. Nineteen members enjoyed the usual pot luck dinner, following which the meeting was called to order by Mrs. Martha Sirois, president. A social hour followed the business meeting.

The October 3rd meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. George Hoevet.
