Gustave Nelson and Miss Hazel Nichols, both of Chicago, were united in marriage at Prospect Hall, 64th St. and Ashland Ave., Chicago, Sunday, April 11, at 2:30 P.M. The beautiful ring ceremony was used. The bride wore a white satin gown with all over beaded net and carried a bouquet of bridal roses and sweet peas. The groom wore the conventional black. They were attended by three brides maids and three best men, and two little flower girls. Burten Herrington, a cousin of the bride, played the wedding march. The hall was beautifully decorated, the color scheme being pink and white. After congratulations a delicious wedding dinner was served. After May 1st the newly married couple will be at home at 6857 Dorchester St., Chicago.The bride formerly lived here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nichols, and her many friends here at her old home will join us in extending congratulations. Those attending the wedding from here were: Messrs. and Mesdames Walter Cleaver, J.H. Hayhurst, T.A. Hayden, Dewey Pinkerton; Dr. and Mrs. George Wooldridge; Mrs. J.F. Harris, Mrs. Wheeler Nichols; Misses Lela Dickinson, Ruth and Ruby Nichols; Messrs. Hugh Nichols, Derwin Nichols and Ivan Hayhurst.
