The following information comes from the Surprise family CD-Rom created by Janet Umlauf:
    Henry Harrison SURPRISE was born on 31 Dec 1912* in Lake Dalecarlia, Lowell, IN. He died early 1990's. Records in Grandma Marian's possession. Also Surprise Family History compiled by Lucille Surprise. Marian said he attended DePauw Univ.

* NOTE -- The 1920 Cedar Creek Twp. Schools Enumeration listed the birthdate of Harry Surprise as March 14, 1913.
