The following article was found in the Nov. 13, 1975, Lowell Tribune on page 12, columns 1-2:
    Herman B. Uhter, age 69, of Shelby, Indiana, passed away November 9, 1975, at St. Anthony Hospital in Crown Point. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two sons, Robert of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Donald of Hammond; one grandchild; one brother, Henry of Shelby, Ind.; one sister, Clara Geller of Crete, Illinois.

    Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 12, in Lowell. Burial was made in Lowell Cemetery.

    Uhter was a retired employee of City Service Refinery and a member of the Kankakee Valley Community Club.
