AGED RESIDENT DIES AT WATER VALLEY HOME

Mrs. Ida B. Ahlgrim, 86, passed away at her home at Water Valley, Tuesday. About 50 years ago, together with her husband, the late Max Ahlgrim, who passed away nine years ago, she settled at what has been known for many years as Ahlgrim's Park, where she had since made her home. Mr. and Mrs. Ahlgrim conducted the park, as well as having quarters and boats for fishermen and hunters for many years. Her acquaintance over this region was very large.

She leaves ten children: Robert, of Santa Monica, Calif.; Frank of Hammond; John, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Minnie Sirois, Shelby; Anna Brown, LaPorte; Clara Jones, Lowell; Edith Haslett, Shelby; Fred, Chicago; Emma Gates, Hammond; and Bert, Santa Monica, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at the home Friday at 2 p.m., with C.J. Kindred, minister of the Englewood Christian church, conducting the services. Interment, in charge of Irvin Linton, Crown Point, will be made in Lowell cemetery.
