The following July 12, 1928, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 6:

DEATH OF INFANT

Kenneth Frank Ayers, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ayers, of Gary, passed away Tuesday night after an illness of two weeks. The little one was five weeks old at time of death.

He leaves to mourn his going, his mother and father, two grandmothers, and several aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives.

The little one was laid to rest at Pine Grove cemetery. Undertakers Sheets and Son had charge of the burial. J.E. Poer conducted the services.

Mrs. Ayers was formerly Miss Grace Smith, of Lowell.
