The following March 26, 1925 Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 4, column 1:

MARRIED

Charles Elton Topping and Miss Lila Irene Stolberg were united in marriage at the M.E. parsonage in Lowell Saturday at 2 P.M. Rev. C.A. Brown, pastor, performed the marriage ceremony. The groom is the son of Mrs. Charles Topping and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Stolberg. The newly wedded couple are among our most highly esteemed young people and we join their host of friends in extending congratulations and best wishes. They will make their home on the farm, northwest of Lowell.
