(Mrs. Max McDonald)

The following item was in the February 26, 1920, Lowell Tribune (page 1, column 3):
Mary Josephine Clark, daughter of Harriet and Joseph Addison Clark, was born at Pleasant Grove near the old Clark homestead, November 30, 1838, and passed away at Columbus, Montana, February 8, 1920, at the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 8 days.

She spent most of her early life in and around Lowell and Crown Point, and kept house for her brother, Osias, a great many years. About thirty years ago she went to Montana and there met and married Max McDonald, who is a native of Indiana and who still survives her. She leaves her husband, one sister, Mrs. Locena Hill, one brother, Elijah Clark, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn their loss.

Funeral services were held at the church at Columbus, February 10, 1920, at 1:30 P.M.
