The following obituary came from the April 22, 1992, Lowell Tribune (page 8, column 2):
    Myrtle Buckley, age 73, of Cedar Lake, passed away Sunday, April 5, 1992, in Dolton, Georgia. She is survived by: her husband, John Buckley; six sisters, Johanna Burkholder of Oaklyn, New Jersey, Rallie Johnson and Esther Olson, both of Litchville, North Dakota, Berniece Ross of Puyallun, Washington, Alice (A.W.) Whited of Billings, Montana, and Dorothy (James) Nichols of Merrillville; one brother, Lesley "Bud" (Luella) Ten Pas of Litchfield, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. A Memorial Service was held at 10 a.m. April 16 at Eller-Brady Funeral Home, Cedar Lake, with Rev. Paul Wilson officiating. Myrtle Buckley was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Cedar Lake.
