Arm Broken
Another to the already long list of broken bones in this vicinity the past year was added last Saturday; Orlo Alyea being the unfortunate one this time. He was mowing away hay in his father's livery barn and in trying to push a window down, lost his balance and fell to the ground, breaking one bone of his left arm between the wrist and elbow. Dr. Willitts reduced the fracture.The following news item was hand-dated May 22, 1914, and identified as being from the Star:
- Born to Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Alyea, May 14th, a baby girl. Congratulations.
