Roscoe Jules Beebe (1879-1934)
PASSED AWAY IN CHICAGO
Roscoe Jules Beebe, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Beebe, was born at Grand Island, Nebr., August 20, 1879, and passed away at the Englewood hospital in Chicago, Friday, March 9th. His wife was formerly Miss Florence Mulliken.Funeral services were held at the funeral home at 63rd and Harvard in Chicago Monday at 10 a.m. The funeral services were in charge of Normal Park Masonic lodge. James Coyle, who was the Master of the lodge at the time the deceased was raised a Mason, had charge of the Masonic work. Rev. Rowe, pastor of the Presbyterian church, conducted the funeral service. The remains were brought to Lowell and interment was made in the Lowell cemetery.
He leaves to mourn him, his wife, one son, William, one brother, Harry and one sister, Mrs. Harry S. Ditchburne, all of Chicago.
Former Lowell residents attending the burial here were: S.A. Mulliken and daughter, Mrs. Alfred A. Ackerman, of Detroit, Michigan; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Will Cox and Walter Farwell, of Chicago.
