    PHILLIPS - SCHUTZ

A pretty wedding took place at St. Edward church Tuesday, February 16, 1926, when Miss Catherine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Schutz, became the bride of Roy A. Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Phillips. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. S.J. Ryder, pastor of the church.

The bride wore a white georgette crepe dress and carried [a] bouquet of white roses. She was assisted by her sister, Miss Madeline, who was attired in pink and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Lester Phillips acted as best man.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to about fifty of the immediate relatives.

The newly married couple will reside on a farm about five and one-half miles northwest of Lowell.

Both the bride and groom are among the popular young people of the section and their many friends extend congratulations and best wishes.
