    PHEBUS rites held Monday

    Sula E. Phebus, age 74, of Rural Route 2, Grant Park, Ill., passed away on Friday, March 13, at the Fuch’s Nursing Home, Lowell.

    Survivors include two sons, Emerson of Grant Park, Ill., and Paul of Lowell; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held Monday, March 16, at Sheets Funeral Home in Lowell, with the Rev. Phillip Tuttle officiating. Burial was in West Creek Cemetery, Lowell.

    She was a member of the Lowell Chapter Order of Eastern Star, 360, member of Lake Prairie Presbyterian Church, and member of Lowell American Legion Auxiliary.


The West Creek Cemetery records at the Lowell Public Library show that Sula Phebus (1895-1970) was buried at site C7.
