WEDDING BELLS
At Lowell, Ind., August 22, 1925, the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Sheets, on North Clark St., was beautifully decorated in cut flowers and greenery, it being the occasion of the marriage of their daughter, Velma. As the clock struck two the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march heard, the bride, gowned in white silk crepe and Duchess lace, descended the stairs, where she was met by the groom, Donald Quincy, who wore the conventional black. Rev. C.A. Brown gave the beautiful and impressive ring ceremony which made Donald Quincy and Velma Sheets husband and wife.After congratulations were received from Mr. and Mrs. Sheets, Kenneth Sheets, Dr. Quincy, Rev. and Mrs. C.A. Brown, Misses Eva and Bertha Sheets and Nora Pattee, the bride and groom led the way to the dining room where a beautiful and appetizing two-course luncheon was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Quincy left under a shower of rice and good wishes for a trip east through Vermont to the Atlantic Coast. They will be at home to their friends at No. 10 S. Lockwood Ave., Chicago, after September 15, 1925.
