The following November 9, 1916, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 4:

    Married

    Fred Ahlgrim, of Shelby, and Miss Vera Chapman, of Lowell, were united in marriage at Crown Point Thursday, Novenber 2, 1916. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Ahlgrim and is an honest and industrious young man. The bride is the daughter of E.F. Chapman and is one of our most highly esteemed young ladies. The young couple have a host of friends in this vicinity whom we join in extending congratulations and best wishes for a happy and prosperous wedded life.
