Virgil McColley New Lowell Cemetery Sexton
Virgil McColley has been employed as sexton of the Lowell cemetery is the announcement made by Rev. E.L. Worley, president of the Lowell Cemetery Association. He assumed his duties November 15, following the resignation of George Villers.Mr. and Mrs. McColley and their 18-year-old twin sons, Lloyd and Floyd, will move to 1203 East Commercial Ave., the house owned by the Association, from Shelby. The McColleys own a farm near Shelby, however Mr. McColley has worked for the Stratton Grain Company at Schneider for the past 14 years.
Mr. McColley will handle all work at the cemetery and information may be obtained by phoning 9317. He also has grave blankets and winter wreaths for sale.
