Kankakee River Scene
- This picture postcard of a Kankakee River scene from the early 1900's was sent to Fern Pletcher from Leon Bailey. He continued his message on the front of the card. The couple was married in 1914. The postcard message reads as follows:
- Dear Fern,
I said I would write the middle of the week but I missed it a little. Nothing much doing only I went fishing and got 35 fish. I wished I could of sent some of them to you. I don't know when I will see you again but will write again the last of the week.
