The marriage of Miss Sylvia Rudolph and Vernon H. Miller took place at Crown Point at the M.E. church on October 12. The wedding service was read by the Rev. George B. Jones. Miss Louise Miller attended the bride as maid of honor, and John Bruce served as best man. The double ring ceremony was used, with little Miss Jean Hoevet as ring bearer.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Charles Rudolph and is one of Lowell's most charming and accomplished young ladies. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Miller and is one of the community's respected young farmers.
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple returned to Lowell where a reception and dinner was given at the home of the bride's mother.
After a short trip touring various places of interest they will make their home on the farm. Both are well known in and around Lowell where they have many friends who wish them happiness and prosperity.

- Vernon H. Miller, 66, of 11904 Belshaw Road, Lowell, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 1970.
- He was a member of the Lowell Methodist Church and a lifetime resident of the Lowell area, engaged in farming.
- He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis A. Kroll of Lowell; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Tanner of Lowell and Mrs. Eleanor Kenney of Yardley, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
- Funeral services were held June 26 at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in West Creek Cemetery in Lowell.
