George Heinrich (Henry) Miller (1877-1960)
George Miller, 82, Lifelong Resident of Lowell, Passes Away
- George Henry Miller, 82, a lifelong resident of the Lowell Community, passed away Monday, Feb. 1 at his farm home in West Creek township. He had been in failing health for some time.
- Mr. Miller was born in Lowell Feb. 13, 1877, the son of August and Louise (Meyer) Miller. He was married to Miss Katherine Miller of Sherburnville, Ill.
- Mr. Miller was a retired, prominent West Creek farmer and a member of the Lowell Methodist church.
- Memorial service will be held today, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. in the Sheets Funeral Home with Rev. E.L. Worley officiating and burial will be in the West Creek cemetery.
- Survivors include his wife Katherine; one son, Vernon Miller of Lowell; two daughters, Mrs. Earle (Louise) Tanner of Lowell and Mrs. Milton (Eleanor) Kenney of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also four sisters, Mrs. Lena Lindemer of Lowell; Mrs. Anna Hayden of Azusa, Calif.; Miss Emma Miller of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. Ella Harrington of Pomona. Calif.; besides a host of other relatives and friends.
