Flint Berdines Mark 45th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Flint Berdine were honored at a surprise dinner party Sunday when Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Snyder entertained in their honor. The occasion marked the wedding anniversaries of both the Flint Berdines and the Arthur Snyders on November 24. It was the Berdines' 45th anniversary.

Other guests were the ladies' sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schroeder of Hebron, and their brothers and wives, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Williams of Hammond, and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Williams of Griffith. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. George Schilling and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Pattee joined the group. All enjoyed the day and hope to be with the Berdines five years hence when they will celebrate their golden anniversary.

A highlight of the afternoon was a phone call from the Snyder's son, S\Sgt. Shirl Snyder, stationed near Orlando, Fla., who called extend congratulations to the celebrants.
