Mrs. Lottie Pattee, 84, Lowell Pioneer, Dies

A pioneer resident of this community, Mrs. Lottie Pattee, will be laid to rest this afternoon. Born in West Creek township, October 4, 1870, the daughter of the Daniel Haydens, Lottie moved to Cedar Creek township after her marriage to the late Lewis A. Pattee. Here she spent her lifetime, and was active in south county affairs. Mrs. Pattee was forced into retirement years ago because of failing health. She passed away Monday, May 16, at Shady Heights Nursing Home, St. John, after a long illness.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Horace Carter of Lowell; four sons, Malcolm of Detroit, Mich.; Manford of Miami, Fla.; and Roy and Gilbert, of Lowell; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The Rev. Harold Hotchkiss, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate at memorial services at 2 p.m., today, May 19, in the Sheets Funeral Home. Interment will be made beside her husband in the Lowell cemetery.
