Surprise Party
Saturday, April 17, being the fourteenth birthday anniversary of Thelma Wheeler, her mother took occasion to give her a surprise by inviting in a number of her boy and girl friends to spend the evening. The surprise was complete, but Thelma soon recovered and proceeded to entertain her guests.The evening was very pleasantly spent in music, games and dancing. Mrs. Anna Driscoll entertained the guests with several humorous readings. At a late hour a two course luncheon was served which was greatly enjoyed by all present. After singing "Until We Meet Again," Miss Thelma's friends departed for their homes, wishing her many more happy returns of the day. A number of beautiful gifts were received.
