Included in the latest list of selectees going to Ft. Benjamin Harrison from Local Board No. 1, Crown Point were Nolan G. Fish, Robert D. Sharkey, Robert P. Phillips and Wesley F. Drew, all of Lowell.

This October 11, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 4, colum 1:

Pvt. Wesley Drew, who is stationed at Camp Robinson, Little Rock, Arkansas, is at the home of his parents, at Belshaw, enjoying a 30 day furlough.

This December 13, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:

Pfc. Wesley Drew arrived home Sunday morning on a 30-day furlough from Camp Patrick Henry, Virginia. He will return to Camp Pickett, Va., in January.
