Owen Peterson

This photo, from Elizabeth (nee Peterson) Bisig's collection, was passed to her granddaughter Rochelle Ellen Bisig Gereg. Owen Peterson was the second son of George F. Peterson and his wife Mary Adeline (nee Lawrence) Hess. Mrs. Gereg adds, "Owen had numerous jobs throughout his lifetime. His wife's name was Lydia; I don't know her maiden name. Owen was born in Aug. 1875 and died in 1944. Lydia was born in 1869 * and died in 1948. Owen worked for the newspaper in Lowell for awhile."

NOTE -- An obituaty for Lydia (Mrs. Owen) Peterson that appeared in a 1948 newspaper listed her birth date as May 24, 1874, which would have made her a year younger than her husband rather than six years older.
